They are preferred due to their high SiO₂ and low Fe₂O₃ contents, high wear resistance, low brittleness and economical nature. It is prepared in different sizes with 8-10-12-14-16 cm thickness (length may vary).
Sectors in which it is used:It is used in the coating of the inner walls of ball mills in the ceramics, cement and mining industries.
